John B. Moore
Principle, Technical Director, Speaker, System Architect, Programmer
John Moore is our head Internet developer; the person who oversees the direction of our tools. He has been programming in a variety of languages for more than 25 years as the owner of the consulting and system architect/design company, Micro-Phyla Systems, which provided services to enterprise level companies.
John has been actively involved in various aspects of the software development industry. As a member of TeamB (Team Borland) on Borland Software's monitored Internet newsgroups (now part of Embarcadero and CodeGear), he assisted other users in using and understanding their development products. TeamB is a group of peer-selected volunteer experts approved and supported by Borland to help support its customers on the Internet. John was a technical speaker at Borland's 1993 and 1998 - 2002 Borland Developers Conferences and former president and one of the founding members of the San Diego Delphi Users Group (SDDUG).
John has contributed articles on Paradox and database design topics to the Paradox Informant magazine and was part of the team of writers for the Que books "Using Paradox v5.0 for Windows" and "Killer Paradox 5.0 for Windows." He was also an instructor on Delphi and Java for the international training firm, SoftBite International, from 1998-99 and QualTrain Inc. in 2003 where he trained programmers for the Air Force.
John's current focus is on web centric languages: Java, Flash, and PHP highlighting open source technologies, as well as Web2.0 and Social Media technologies. He works on both server side technologies (Java and PHP based), as well as developing "rich thin client" web interfaces using DOM scripting, AJAX, XML, Flash and providing these advanced technologies to small and medium-sized businesses to solve real business problems and needs. John is a strong advocate of W3C web standards as a means for maintaining a dynamic, universal, and affordable web platform for business and continues to develop training and support content on web technologies for business through ebooks, videos and blogs.
Melanie Moore Bermudez
Co-Founder, Marketing, Artistic Director
Melanie oversees the design, basic HTML, CSS structure and layout. She also heads the marketing and sales campaigns for the company, and provides support and feedback to SonicSpider's clients throughout their project development. Melanie has been with the company since its inception in 2003. She graduated with honors from the University of California, Irvine with a BA in fine arts specializing in painting and critical art theory.
Melanie oversees SonicSpider's RightStart Website program, which offers professional grade website development services in budget oriented packages.

System Architect, Database Architect, Lead Programmer
Clive has worked as an Oracle and Delphi programmer for more than 16 years. He currently is an active member in both the Oracle User Group and the Delphi User Group, along with being a Delphi component builder and presenter. Clive maintains his own consulting company at Walden Consulting where he supports and develops custom Windows based applications. Clive provides a depth of experience in database solutions that solve real-world problems.
Currently Clive is working with John on developing foundation tools and components that allow SonicSpider to provide the latest technologies to clients. Clive also is the lead programmer on custom application development.
Technology and Networking Lead, Email Specialist
Richard brings hardware, networking, and operating systems expertise to SonicSpider. He keeps the machines humming, backed up and healthy. Rich is also our Email Specialist. If you have an email headache, Rich will find a solution.
Richard is also the owner of the Creata Computer Network, which specializes in integrating Linux and other open source software into the dominant Windows business environment. He has had MCSE training in Windows operating systems and extensive experience with Linux distributions. Rich also works with Mac OSes and has experience with Novell servers. Linux server systems are his specialty
